Nate “Father” of 2 Sons’ 

I am originally from Atlanta and that is where I started my culinary career. I attended the Art Institute of Atlanta in their culinary program. After graduation I worked at the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead. From the Ritz I moved on to Bacchanalia to work under Chef Anne Quatrano. Working at Bacchanalia led to a Sous Chef position at the sister restaurant Float Away Cafe. After a short time at Float Away I moved to Boston MA. I soon found myself at Radius, Chef Michael Schlow's flag ship restaurant. Working under chef Schlow and chef de cuisine Patrick Connolly I continued on my journey throughout the world of fine dining. After another year and a half at Radius, I moved to Chattanooga with my wife Katherine. Soon after arriving in the Noog, I got a job at Hennen's and Blue Plate. After a year at these two restaurants I was the opening chef of the Public House

After all of that time working at the top of the restaurant industry, I came to a realization- I love the detail, knowledge, time, effort and inspiration that it takes to produce food at the highest level.  In my heart I love pressed white chef jackets, roasted squab dishes and foie gras terrines. But if you want the truth; my personality is t-shirts, smoked pork and pimento cheese. Coming to that realization, I began the process of starting Famous Nater’s World Famous food truck. 

While growing our food truck business, our family was growing as well. Katherine and I have 2 very beautiful and very energetic little boys. In the midst of all this growth, we found some fantastic and exceptionally gracious partners that were willing to help us open a restaurant you can sit down in. So come have a meal with us and watch our business grow as our sons do. 


Our mission is to be the best restaurant in Chattanooga Tennessee. We want accomplish that with great food; with smiles on faces that you’ll know like family, in an atmosphere you don’t want to leave, around people that don’t suck, and with mountains of gratitude.  
We are a cozy breakfast joint in the mornings and a bustling spot for lunch after that…but keep an eye out for what is coming next!
